Delta Sigma Theta Opens New Technology Center at Winfield PAL
The Baltimore County Alumnae Chapter (BCAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. had its special ribbon-cutting celebration to mark the culmination of their recent No Family Left Offline campaign and the opening of the new technology center at the Winfield Police Athletic League (PAL) Center. The ceremony was held on Saturday, April 2, at 12:00 pm at the PAL Center, 8300 Carlson Lane Windsor Mill, MD 21244. According to chapter president, Monique Cephas, "the equipment donation was made possible by a collaboration between BCAC, PCs for People, and the Epsilon Nu Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. The addition of the new-and-improved technology center will enhance our Delta Student Enrichment Program, which provides meals and educational support services to youth in the Windsor Mill area. Thanks to the tireless dedication of the chapter members, and the ongoing support of county government officials, and other local organizations, the Delta Student Enrichment Program will continue to have a significant impact on the children and families in our community."
According to their website, BCAC celebrates over 35 years providing service to Baltimore County. The BCAC are committed to public service and seek to enhance and aid in the development of our communities by implementing and following the Sorority’s Five Point Programmatic Thrust:
Economic Development
Educational Development
International Awareness and Involvement

This new technology center definitely satisfies the educational development endeavors.
