Santa Claus Came to Randallstown

On Monday, December 13th, the Woodlawn Precinct Community Outreach Team hosted their "Selfies With Santa" event at the Randallstown Police Substation. The event, open from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm, featured the world famous Santa Claus, the Grinch Who Stole Christmas, the Abominable Snowman, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, and McGruff the Crime Dog. The gathering also featured police volunteers from the Woodlawn, and Wilkens Precinct. Officer Barbara Sholter, who organized the event, was assisted by Sergeant James Gill, Officers Bryen Glass, Alisha Helphenstine, Kristie Makowiecki, Brenda Binns-Clarke, Marsha Davis, Ken Shields, Al Griffin, Al Barbour, Jessica Calle-Seaton, Kevin Cooper, and retired Sergeant Charles Fleet.


The free event was open to the public, and allowed attendees to see the array of Christmas lights, decorations, and photo stations where they could take selfies with various popular Christmas characters. Attendees also received gift bags with coloring books, crayons, and candy canes. The event was co-sponsored by the Walmart Super Store in Randallstown, MD.
