SUPPORT NEEDED FOR OUR YARDS FOR YEARDLEY TEAM.

Every year, Community Outreach Teams across the county participate in Crime Victim’s Rights Week (April 18-25). The theme for Crime Victim’s Rights Week is “Support Victims. Build Trust. Engage Communities”. This year, The Woodlawn Outreach Team has decided to add “Yards for Yeardley” in conjunction with Crime Victim’s Rights Week. Yeardley Love was a Baltimore native who was tragically murdered by her boyfriend just a few weeks before graduating from the University of Virginia. The One Love Foundation was created to honor her memory by educating young people about healthy, and unhealthy relationships.

Woodlawn Precinct United is our team name for the event. Each officer is committing to walk 100 miles between April 1-May 3rd. We would like to invite you to join our challenge. You can also make a donation to our teams’ fundraising goal. Check out our page or register for our team at:

https://fundraise.joinonelove.org/YardsforYeardley2021/Team/View/144862/Woodlawn-Precinct-United. Any “MOVEment” during this time frame counts so get your fitness trackers ready! Stay Safe.
