Villa Nova Community Flea Market Coming in June

On Saturday, June 11, 2022, the Villa Nova Community Association will be hosting a community flea market. The event will be held from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm on the parking lot of the True Fellowship Church of God in Christ located at 7017 Queen Anne Road 21207 (off Essex Rd). Rain date: Saturday, June 18, 2022.


Vendor fees is only $20 and you must provide your own table and chair. Vending fees are waived for Villa Nova Community Association members. Payment may be made in advance or on site. Space is first come, first choice. NO REFUNDS!


Set-up starts at 8:15AM; Tables and chairs are not provided; Vendors must bring their own equipment to display merchandise. Shut-down is 2:00 pm. All areas must be cleaned and cleared by 2:30PM. Check-in will be done at your table. When you arrive, please set-up and a representative will come to you; please display your check-in receipt on your table. Management reserves the right to withhold space rental from those it decides to be in conflict with the market's regulations. NO subletting of spaces. If original vendor leaves space, VNCA reserves the right to sell the space to another vendor.


IMPORTANT RULES

  • Vendors must remove all of their own garbage and litter. Vendors are not to leave behind unsold merchandise. Anyone found dumping will be prosecuted.

  • The use of loud speakers or public address systems is prohibited.

  • Alcohol is prohibited on market grounds. Any vendor found intoxicated will be arrested for public intoxication.

  • VNCA reserves the right to eliminate any items from sale or swap, or the manner in which it is displayed.

  • Vehicles must not block vendors.

When joining the event, vendor hereby agrees to indemnify and name harmless the Villa Nova Community Association and its members from any and all claims, causes of action, and suits arising, occurring or resulting from any damage, injury or loss of property of any nature caused by, arising out of, or in any way connected with the exercise by the vendor or VNCA and its members, of the privileges herein granted. VNCA will not be responsible for any loss or damage of property resulting from inclement weather. Vendor is responsible for collection and payment of any federal, state, or local taxes.


PROHIBITED SALE ITEMS

  • Counterfeit merchandise (imitation designer purses, shoes, clothing, and sunglasses, CDs or DVDs)

  • Drugs, drug paraphernalia and alcohol

  • Firearms and ammunition

  • Fireworks and explosives

  • Animals

  • Foods
