Firearm Buyback Event April 15, 2023

Gun violence is a significant problem in the United States. According to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), there were 39,740 fire-related deaths in United States in 2019. This includes homicides, suicides, and unintentional deaths. In addition to fatalities, there are also many non-fatal instances of gun violence in the United States. The Gun Violence Archive, a nonprofit organization that tracks gun related incidents in the U.S., reported that there were 43,549 total incidents of gun violence in 2021, including 17,864 deaths and 25,685 injuries.


On Saturday, April 15, 2023, a Firearm Buyback Event will be held at the Drumcastle Government Center located at 6401 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212. The event is from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. Those who wish to turn in the firearms can remain anonymous and there will be no questions asked. The collection of firearms will be managed by the Baltimore County Police Department. Gift cards will be given in exchange for the firearms, and high-capacity magazines. Click on the photo for details.
